Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Dede Customs, run by a private individual based in Portugal. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What Dede Customs does
Dede Customs lets you upload photos of your car and generates images, using artificial intelligence, showing what it could look like with aftermarket parts, paint and other changes. It also lists parts from other shops with links to buy them.
2. Renders are illustrations
Generated images are artistic previews, not exact representations. Colors, sizes, proportions and details may differ from the real parts on your car. Do not rely on a render alone when buying.
3. Fitment information
"Fits" and "Fits with changes" labels are estimates based on published specifications and the details you give us. They are not a guarantee. Always confirm fitment with the seller or a qualified professional before buying or installing parts. Modifications may need approval or inspection under the rules of your country.
4. Your account
You must be at least 16 and give a valid email address. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
5. Wallet, prices and refunds
- Renders are paid from a prepaid balance ("wallet") that you top up by card. Each generated image currently costs €0.15, VAT included; the price is always shown before you render.
- If a render fails for technical reasons, its cost is automatically returned to your wallet.
- Your balance can only be used for Dede Customs services. It is not cash, cannot be transferred and does not earn interest.
- Right of withdrawal: as a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase. For a top-up, you can ask for a refund of any unused balance within 14 days of paying. By starting a render you ask us to provide that digital service immediately, and you lose the right to withdraw for the part of the balance already used.
- We may change prices for future renders; changes never affect renders already made.
6. Your photos and content
You keep all rights to the photos you upload and the images generated for you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service (including sending them to our AI provider). Only upload photos you have the right to use, and do not upload anything illegal, offensive or showing other people without their permission.
7. Shops and affiliate links
Parts are sold by independent shops, not by Dede Customs. Your purchase, delivery, returns and warranty are between you and that shop. Some links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Prices shown may change; the shop's price at checkout applies.
8. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to hack, overload or copy it, and no automated access without our permission.
9. Liability
We provide Dede Customs with reasonable care but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on renders or fitment labels. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Dede Customs at any time and ask us to delete your account. Any unused balance you are entitled to under section 5 will be refunded.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Portugal. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can contact your local consumer arbitration centre.
